Many of the adventures that BARDII CR Company offers involve activities with some degree of risk and physical effort. Therefore, clients will be asked to be in good physical condition and without any recent health condition that could compromise their safety and well-being, such as surgery, heart condition, pregnancy, disability, asthma or injury.

In case of any special requirements, please let us know all the details. BARDII CR Company reserves the right to cancel any trip due to unsafe conditions for clients or our team. We will only conduct tours in accordance with the policies established by the company. If the client is taking any medical treatment or has any other medical concerns, it must be informed at the time of reservation.

Note: BARDII CR Company reserves the right to cancel any activity if it is considered that a client is not fit to take a tour, ensuring their own safety and/or the safety of other clients and guides. Any client under the influence of drugs or alcohol will be automatically cancelled.

BARDII CR Company reserves the right to cancel any trip due to unsafe conditions for clients or our team. We will only conduct tours in accordance with the policies established by the company.

Due to reasons beyond our control (such as weather, river levels, etc.), we may switch to a

more suitable tour with an equal or similar difficulty rating and adventure appeal, or offer

other tour options so that the client's adventure day is not lost. Our Head Guide assists in making the final decision. If the change of activity does not satisfy the client or rescheduling is not possible, the agency will be notified, and the respective refund will be applied.

Any inclusion, change or increase in activity-related legislation and/or new tax burden, will be applied immediately after approval.

Any significant increase in fuel costs may affect the rates in this contract. In the event of this happening, notice will be given three months in advance through a general communication.

General policies:

Recommended age for participation in the activities:

•  Rafting class 3-4: From
• 15 years and above.
• Rafting class 2-3: From 8 years and above.
• Tubing class 2-1: From 15 years and above.
• Safari Float: Ages 6 years and above.
• Gravity Falls: Ages 15 years and above.
• Canyoning: From 8 years and above.
• Mountain Biking: From 10 years and above.
• Stand Up Paddling: Ages 10 years and above.
• Kayaking: From 6 and above. All children from 6 to 9 years old will be paddled in a double kayak for safety reasons. Children from 10 to 12 years old can ride in a regular kayak and will be charged as children. Those 13 years and older will be charged as adults.
• Naturalist Activities (Arenal Volcano, Hanging Bridges, Nature Combo): There is no age limit, please check the corresponding rate according to age.
• Cultural Experiences: There is no age limit, check the respective rate according to age.
• In cultural or naturalistic activities, children from 0 to 5 years old will not be charged. All children from 6 to 12 years old will pay the child rate. Everyone over 13 years old will pay the adult rate.
• All children from 6 to 12 years old will be considered as child rate. Every person from 13 years old or older qualifies as an adult.

Note: For all tours and services the minimum tour operation is 2 pax.

All our transportation services will perform pick-ups and drop-offs at the designated lobbies of each hotel.

Every reservation indicates a specific pick-up time, so we kindly ask that the client be ready prior to this time.

If the transport service is delayed for the pick-up (due to other reservations or road conditions), please contact our operations service at (+506) 8921-0108 (available via WhatsApp or phone call), and we will gladly provide the necessary support.

If the client does not show up at the designated meeting point at the indicated time, the transport service will only wait for 10 minutes, after which they will notify our operations colleagues of the no-show.

• For FITs (reservations for less than 12 pax):
• Any cancellation made more than 48 hours prior to the reservation will be refunded 100%.
• Any cancellation made 48 hours or less will be penalized 100%.
• For group reservations (12 or more pax):
• Any cancellation made more than 7 days in advance of the reservation will be refunded 100%.
• Any cancellation made 6 days or less will be penalized 100%

• All modifications must be requested by email and will be confirmed through the same channel.

• Any modification that alters the number of passengers, date or service will be reviewed based on availability in the system.

• If the number of passengers in the reservation decreases, the cancellation policies will be applied in the same way as the modification policies.
